Your role:
Located in Belgium or the Netherlands, you will lead regional growth and drive revenue as a field-based Discovery Scientific Sales Specialist covering BeNeLux. You'll build deep, strategic relationships with academia, biotech, pharma, and industry customers, positioning our early discovery workflow solutions as essential to their research and development. Your week balances territory planning, identifying and converting high-value opportunities, and delivering measurable outcomes through pipeline growth, seminars, and strong field presence. Expect to travel roughly 3 days per week across your territory, collaborating closely with marketing, product, and service teams to execute account strategies and hit revenue targets. Reporting to the Head of Scientific Sales Specialist – Early Discovery Workflow, you'll own your territory and drive clear, achievable growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your technical expertise and relationship-building skills directly impact our success.
Who you are:
Engineering or life-science degree with 5+ years of technical sales experience in chemical synthesis, small biomolecules, or related fields.
A track record of building and closing large opportunities in competitive markets.
Strong customer relationship management across academia, biotech, pharma, and industry sectors, with the ability to identify decision-makers and navigate complex buying processes.
Skilled at mapping customer pain points to our solutions and positioning value beyond price.
Daily use of Salesforce to track activities, manage the opportunity pipeline, and maintain accurate forecasting.
Comfortable working in a matrix environment with account management, field marketing, product, and service teams.
Willingness to travel 3+ days per week within Belgium and the Netherlands; flexible and adaptable to the demands of field-based sales.
