You will join a high-velocity technology organization that is scaling digital capabilities across the enterprise. Working with multi-functional partners, you will own the EWM agenda end to end, from shaping solution architecture through steady-state optimization, so warehouses run with precision, compliance is built into every move, and cycle times continually shrink. Accountabilities:
EWM Solution Leadership: Own the vision and roadmap for SAP EWM across sites, translating business goals into scalable, compliant designs that improve throughput and inventory accuracy.
End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Lead design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare for EWM in S/4HANA, ensuring measurable value such as reduced picking time, higher order accuracy, and faster goods' receipt.
Agile Program Execution: Drive Agile delivery across multiple EWM workstreams, managing backlogs, prioritizing outcomes, and meeting demanding timelines without compromising quality.
Integration Leadership: Orchestrate seamless integration with MM, PP, QM, SD, and TM, ensuring data consistency and robust end-to-end process execution from production staging to shipment.
Data Migration and Quality: Plan and implement data migration using SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, ensuring master and transactional data integrity, controllership, and audit readiness.
Team Leadership and Coaching: Guide a team of EWM consultants, setting standards for design and documentation, reviewing configurations, and growing capability through structured coaching and feedback.
Automation and AI Enablement: Identify and implement productivity gains in EWM processes using automation and AI tools, demonstrating tangible improvements in cycle time, manual effort, and right-first-time metrics.
Operational Excellence and Shift Coverage: Provide leadership and decision support across shift patterns and flexible schedules to maintain 24x7 continuity and rapid incident resolution.
Stake-holder Engagement: Facilitate workshops, capture requirements, and simplify complex trade-offs for business and technology stake-holders to drive alignment and adoption.
Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Embed quality and validation needs into designs, and iterate using data and metrics to continually optimize warehouse flows and inventory management.
Essential Skills/Experience:
More than 12+ years of SAP EWM consulting Experience
Expertise in the respective business domain on SAP EWM with S/4 HANA.
SAP EWM implementation / roll-out experience from design to completion of deployment
Experience on Decentralised EWM Implementation is mandatory
Should have led a technical team of more than 5 EWM members. Should guide the team to deliver full EWM solutions through Agile implementation.
Hands on experience and knowledge on SAP Extended Warehouse management and its integration with MM, PP, QM, SD and TM.
Keeping the track record of delivering SAP configuration design
Certification in SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse management (EWM) is mandatory
Able to identify ways to improve efficiency by changing work methods through new automation solutions. These use AI tools like Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and others within EWM operations.
Required Excellent process knowledge of EWM processes like Inbound, Outbound, Internal warehouse movements, Production staging, physical inventory etc.
Should have hands-on experience in setting up warehouses set up with POSC, LOSC, WOCR, Wave picking, PPF etc.
Experience of Pharmaceutical supply chain business activities and the required business outcomes within the relevant capability area
Must have sound knowledge and experience in configuring/modifying Post Processing Framework in SAP EWM.
Experience in creation of Master Data i.e. Packaging Specifications, Warehouse Interpersonal Structure, Settings for Handling Units etc.
Able to work across the program team and connect with business stake-holders and IT teams
Comfortable with ambiguity and possessing an agile and open attitude
Keeps self, up to date on the latest S/4 technologies and functionalities
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as driving the team of Senior Consultants as a Team
Good communication and presentation skills, ability to notice and address details
Self-motivated, demonstrated personal credibility and positive energy
Able to deliver large work efforts and meet exciting deadlines
Able to think out of the box, thrive in ambiguous and stressful situations.
Education Background – Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate from a reputed University
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience working with SAP MM, SAP TM, and SAP ABAP Debugging
Involved in 2 full life cycle S/4HANA greenfield Implementation of Decentralised EWM.
Experience in SAP Mobile Technologies Implementations using: SAP Console/ITS Mobile/IOS app/ RFID for Radio Frequency Framework Solution design.
Worked in a hybrid environment with a mix of internal and external resources in multiple geographical locations.
Knowledge of non-SAP technologies in the relevant line of business eg WCS, AGV, MES or comparable experience, GQCLIMS
Experience in Interface Development (RFC/ALE/I Doc/Web Services).
Exposure to testing tools :Jira and Solution Manager for handling Organizational change process as a User.
Data Migration performed via SAP S/4HANA’s Migration Cockpit.
Awareness about SAP Activate, EML, Agile, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager, BPML & Testing Tools
