Your role:
Main Tasks
Track shipment information and prepare clearance documentation.
Complete customs declarations within standard lead times to ensure goods are delivered to the warehouse on time
Maintain ongoing communication and coordination with customs, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to resolve clearance issues.
Work with Regulatory/Trade Compliance teams to ensure end-to-end import/export processes run smoothly.
Review and verify monthly invoices from logistics providers and process payments.
Update shipment status in the system promptly to ensure information is accurately conveyed.
Adhere to company policies, processes, and all applicable laws and regulations at local, national levels.
Perform document checks or corrections before filing or submission to ensure authenticity, accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
Report any anomalies, suspicious documents, or illegal/suspicious shipments involving customs activities to the appropriate authorities.
Maintain custody of import/export documents per the document retention policy and retain related records and customs-issued certificates or legal documents.
Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors.
Who you are:
Education and Qualification Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/International Trade/Chemical Engineering/Biochemical Engineering (or related field)
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or import/export operations; familiarity with international trade rules and Chinese customs regulation
Strong communication skills and ability to foster cross-functional collaboration
Excellent organizational abilities, high sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure and handle complex/changing environments independently
Proficient in English communications
Knowledge of hazardous materials, chemicals, or biologics is a plus
SAP familiarity is a plus
Strong interest in AI-native data engineering and agentic data workflows, including orchestration, tool integration, evaluation, and workflow automation.
Ability to operate across ambiguity and influence cross-functional technical decisions.
Demonstrated learning agility in adopting emerging data concepts (for example, data agents and semantic layer patterns).
