Medical Science Liaison - Rare Disease

What you will do

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will play a pivotal role in applying all our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. This is a critical role for Amgen, as you will be the face of our company in our meaningful collaborations with health care professionals, patient associations and other partners. So, are you patient centric, science based, a strong collaborator and well connected in the world of rare diseases? Then this challenge might be the opportunity you've been waiting for!

You will:

Identify, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future Scientific Experts, cooperative (study) groups and study sites.

Develop and implement local Scientific Experts engagement Plans, in line with local and international Scientific Expert strategy.

Represent Amgen Medical department.

Discuss scientific value messages, clinical outcome and patient benefits with Scientific Experts, hospital pharmacists, local payers and others in collaboration with your colleagues.

Provide and/or present field observations and insights to internal customers.

Advanced degree (e.g. PhD , MD, PharmD) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training.

Proven experience in industry (neurology, endocrinology or ophthalmology) or a related scientific field in academia.
