JOB MAIN PURPOSE:
The MSL serves as a scientific expert and trusted partner between Bayer and the medical community by disseminating scientific information, building long‑term relationships with key thought leaders, and supporting scientific exchange and education across internal and external stakeholders.
This position will handle CVRM product profolio.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic contribution
Responsible for driving medical strategy by translating the local medical plan into implementable TL/key HCPs engagement strategies with cross-functional teams and identify synergies with the interests of Bayer and the general medical community
Provides medical scientific inputs, relevant information from TLs and field to the key cross-functions. Partners with Business Units to develop Integrated Brand Plans and executes to achieve business objectives
Data collection, analysis and interpretation
Responsible for reviewing and interpreting interaction analytics related to TL/Key HCPs engagement and take appropriate actions
Responsible and accountable for developing strategic perspective and strong understanding of Bayer’s commercial, go to market strategies and healthcare landscape (including healthcare systems, competition, healthcare technology, regulations etc) so as to anticipate business and customer/stakeholder needs and shape plans accordingly
Managing external relationships
Responsible for fostering strong partnerships across MSL territories and play the role of ‘trusted advisor’ and ‘conductor’ to shape and synergize to reach win-win outcomes
Responsible and Accountable for identifying the right TLs to engage and maintain a current list with up-to-date segmentations as per global definitions
Responsible and Accountable for generating TL insights on unmet medical needs, document and communicate them to cross-functional teams to inform tactics and strategy.
Responsible and Accountable for implementing TL engagement strategies by building an understanding of Thought Leaders, fostering TL relationships and disseminating customer / patient-centric insights and data, whilst leveraging on various digital and physical channels to engage TLs with focused content.
Responsible for reporting external stakeholder engagement activities in Veeva Medical CRM.
Internal support
Responsible for providing scientific contributions to development and implementation of Bayer-organized national, regional and local medical educational programs and gather competitive intelligence, build networks and build new material to engage TLs with
Responsible for facilitating evidence generation aligned with medical and brand strategy, including facilitating investigator-initiated research
Responsible for supporting clinical trial team on subjects related to interventional clinical trials. Support with data collection, feasibility & initiation visits
Medical Queries
Responsible for documenting and processing medical Information queries if any in alignment with MI handling procedures
YOUR KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Has studied a scientific subject to a high standard, i.e. Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in medicine, natural sciences or pharmacology
Has worked in a medical /pharmaceutical field, dealing with drug information, clinical research and development, or other clinical related activities.
Possess basic knowledge of TA Products
Preferably to have business acumen / knowledge, gained through academic study or work experience in a pharma or equivalent organization
Track record of successfully dealing with internal and/or external stakeholders to develop coherent strategy/ approach or to gain support on key issues
Successfully led workstreams / projects and organized scientific engagement platforms and events
Has experience learning and using digital technology on-the-fly to develop communications, brand / TA campaigns and/or conduct analysis of medical data and generate insights
This position will be based in HCMC.
