Lead AstraZeneca's strategic partnerships with priority accounts by acting as the single point of accountability for customer strategy, stakeholder management, and cross-functional execution. Drive commercial performance, business continuity, launch excellence, and long-term value creation through data-driven account planning, effective resource management, and trusted customer relationships.

1. Strategic Customer & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the single point of accountability for AstraZeneca's strategic partnership with assigned key accounts, ensuring alignment of customer objectives with AZ business priorities.

Build and sustain long-term executive-level relationships with key decision makers, influencers, procurement leaders, and healthcare associations to secure strategic access and partnership opportunities.

Lead senior stakeholder engagement to strengthen AZ's position as a trusted partner and support sustainable business growth.

Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across Medical, Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence, and Finance to ensure seamless account execution.

Drive inclusion of AstraZeneca brands and solutions into customer strategic plans, clinical pathways, commercial initiatives, and organizational priorities.

Uphold the highest standards of ethics, compliance, and the AZ Code of Conduct to strengthen trust, credibility, and long-term partnerships.

2. Key Account Business Planning & Performance Management

Develop and lead comprehensive account strategies, business plans, and execution roadmaps to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term business objectives.

Identify, prioritize, and realize account growth opportunities through strategic partnership initiatives, portfolio expansion, and innovative customer engagement models.

Lead annual business planning, forecasting, investment prioritization, and resource allocation to maximize account performance and return on investment.

Ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives, product launches, tenders, and activation plans within assigned accounts.

Monitor account performance against agreed KPIs, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions to deliver business targets.

Develop account-based strategies across relevant therapy areas to maximize portfolio impact, market access, and customer value.

3. Data & Analytics (DnA)

Leverage customer, market, and business intelligence to generate actionable insights and drive fact-based decision making.

Analyze account performance trends, vaccination uptake, patient flow, competitive dynamics, and commercial outcomes to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

Translate data into compelling business recommendations and strategic action plans for internal and external stakeholders.

Build robust account performance dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor progress against strategic objectives and KPIs.

Support forecasting, opportunity assessment, scenario planning, and investment decisions through analytical rigor.

4. Project Leadership, Negotiation & Governance

Lead complex cross-functional projects involving strategic accounts, including partnership initiatives, launch readiness, commercial programs, and network expansion opportunities.

Drive project execution excellence by ensuring alignment of stakeholders, timelines, resources, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans.

Lead commercial negotiations with key customers to establish mutually beneficial agreements while optimizing business outcomes and compliance standards.

Anticipate and proactively manage business continuity risks, stakeholder challenges, and execution barriers within strategic accounts.

Ensure effective governance, communication, and executive visibility for critical customer initiatives and strategic partnerships.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Minimum 7 years experience in various aspects of Sales or Marketing; at least 3 years experience in equivalent position in a pharmaceutical organization (preferably vaccine launch experiences).

Excellent negotiation skills;

Good business sense;

The ability to motivate and lead a team;

Initiative and enthusiasm;

Good planning and organizational skills;

The ability to work effectively under pressure;

Excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and Vietnamese.

Desirable

Experience managing strategic healthcare networks, vaccination centers, hospital groups, or national healthcare organizations.

Experience in multinational pharmaceutical or vaccine companies.

Successful involvement in vaccine launches, market-shaping initiatives, or large-scale partnership programs.

Experience working across multiple functions including Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Familiarity with healthcare ecosystem dynamics, procurement processes, and partnership models in Vietnam.
