Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is hiring a Healthcare Relations Manager in our Market Access team located in Vienna, Austria.

About the Role

This role is part of the Market Access organization ensuring market access for all Johnson & Johnson products in the hospital sector and support patient access in the outpatient sector.

The focus will include various stakeholders within the healthcare system with the ultimate goal of obtaining Market Access.

Tasks / Responsibilities

Conduct negotiations with buyers and decision-makers in the hospital sector.

Ensure listing and market access of Johnson & Johnson products in the hospital sector.

Prepare offers using predefined templates and forms for annual offers.

Account and stakeholder mapping.

Define, develop and continuously refine relevant tools and working materials, such as condition overviews, hospital sales lists, SharePoint repositories, response tracking overviews and projections in alignment with Finance and internal stakeholders.

Engage in intensive cross-functional exchange with Commercial, Marketing, Sales and Medical to ensure aligned and coordinated patient access, for example through workshops and regular alignment meetings.

Contribute to the design and implementation of market access and pricing strategies/commercial conditions in close collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.

Support internal teams by providing arguments, market insights and updates on current developments.

Closely align with Governmental Affairs and Market Access (HEMAR) on regional topics and specific projects.

Collect relevant information on products and market activities and share it with relevant colleagues.

Identify and develop new access pathways and processes in response to market developments.

Develop and communicate value-based arguments to secure access to and funding for our products.

Support the Healthcare Relations Lead in developing and implementing a comprehensive market access strategy for our products.

Provide internal communication on the current situation and potential trends in the Austrian healthcare system.

Act as a liaison between external stakeholders and Johnson & Johnson colleagues, bringing the outside view into the organization.

Develop innovative future joint projects to create economically sustainable partnerships aligned with patient-oriented processes within the Austrian healthcare system.

Establish durable and trust-based relationship with payers and pharmacoeconomic experts in the Austrian health care system as well as new relevant stakeholder contacts at decision-maker level.

Establish new stakeholder contacts around decision making within the Austrian Healthcare system.

Understand the perspective of payers and budget holders and address their needs in an appropriate and targeted manner.

Keep up to date with scientific developments to ensure optimal scientific transfer to the payers.

Identify and communicate market trends as well as market access-related opportunities and risks.

Interact with internal and external stakeholders to obtain relevant information related to upcoming changes in the healthcare system and new product applications.

Skills

Pharmareferentenprüfung or degree in Veterinary medicine, pharmacy or human medicine and at least five years’ working experience in the pharmaceutical industry in field access and/or market access.

Strong communication and negotiation skills, advanced business acumen and strategic thinking, cross functional collaboration to interact with and influence key stakeholders, both internally and externally

Good knowledge on the Austrian health care system

Good knowledge of haematology is preferable

Strong analytical and project management skills

Ability to work to deadlines

Advanced skills in MS Office applications

Proficiency in spoken and written English

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€81,100.00 - €140,990.00
