Position Purpose:
As Head of Pipeline & Launch Forecasting, you will Lead the creation of a global forecasting capability that improves how Sandoz plans, prioritizes, and launches products across across generics, biosimilars, and specialty assets. You will translate an ambitious target operating model into a fully operational global capability, integrating advanced analytics, data science, and commercial insight to deliver robust, scenario-driven forecasts across the pipeline lifecycle.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Lead the end-to-end implementation of the pre-launch forecasting program and centralized global capability hub. Deliver scenario-based forecasts to support portfolio and launch decisions.
Translate the target operating model into a fully operational global capability. Build and lead a high-performing team of forecasting experts, data scientists, and analytics professionals.
Define and embed a best-in-class forecasting framework, including methodologies, tools, and governance.
Drive the integration of advanced analytics, AI/ML models, and automation into forecasting processes.
Ensure high-quality, consistent, and auditable forecasts across assets, markets, and geographies.
Act as a strategic partner to global, regional, and local commercial teams, ensuring strong business alignment.
Establish governance frameworks, decision rights, and processes across the forecasting lifecycle.
Lead change management and drive adoption of new tools and ways of working across a global matrix organization
Provide scenario-based insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform portfolio and launch decisions
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, generics, or biosimilars Industry.
Proven experience in pipeline and/or launch forecasting at global or multi- country level. Strong commercial acumen, ideally with prior market-facing experience (e.g., marketing, market access, portfolio management).
Highly analytical with strong quantitative, problem-solving, and decision- making capabilities. Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams, including data science and analytics.
Track record of building or transforming business capabilities or operating Models.
Solid understanding of forecasting methodologies and key commercial drivers in generic and biosimilar markets.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
Strong change management capabilities, with experience driving adoption in complex organizations.
