This role is part of the US Precision Medicine Commercial team, and is responsible for shaping and executing precision medicine strategies in support of current and future oncology brands, with primary alignment to the lung cancer franchise. This role partners closely with lung and pipeline (NPBD and LRT) brand teams to ensure precision medicine strategies are tightly aligned with brand priorities, disease‑state, and provider needs. The PM team supports the broader Solid Tumor portfolio, with this position serving as the lead for lung‑specific and portfolio‑level PM capabilities.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Precision Medicine, this role leads portfolio initiatives to enhance Precision Medicine capabilities across the organization and works cross‑functionally with commercial, medical, policy, access, and field teams. A strong focus of the role is driving disease‑state specific precision medicine strategies in partnership with cross‑functional teams across the organization.
Additional Responsibilities include:
Partner with lung and pipeline brand teams to develop and execute precision medicine strategies aligned to brand priorities
Lead unbranded biomarker awareness and testing initiatives for healthcare practitioners, pathologists, and other key stakeholders
Develop and maintain an integrated US Precision Medicine external communications strategy, including digital engagement and congress presence.
In partnership with Commercial Excellence and brand teams, build deep understanding of the patient testing journey, diagnostic landscape, and testing rates at national and sub‑national levels
Serve as the commercial subject matter expert on biomarkers, ensuring alignment across brand assets, messaging, and execution
Collaborate with franchise, brand, and field teams to identify and address account‑level precision medicine needs aligned to strategic priorities
Partner with Policy and Access teams to support broad access to guideline‑concordant testing across the Janssen oncology portfolio
Qualifications:
Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA or advanced degree is helpful.
A minimum of 5 years cross functional experience in Commercial and/or Sales roles with at least 3 years of Precision Medicine experience is required.
Prior experience in Precision Medicine is required.
Demonstrated ability to drive strong culture of growth mindset, high performance expectations and create an environment of testing and learning.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
Experience in Oncology
Previous people leadership experience
This role may require up to 25% domestic travel.
