About the Role:
The Global Knowledge Transfer Associate Director is accountable for developing and delivering all scientific trainings as well as initiatives focussed on enhancing functional capabilities across the global medical community to drive tangible outcomes and achieve business objectives.
You will:
Act as a strategic leader within the Global Medical Asset team and contributes proactively to the development of the Global Asset medical strategy including global brand planning and the development of scientific messaging Integrated evidence generation planning and the publications strategy.
Be an integral stakeholder in the MEGS (Medical and Evidence Generation) team to ensure the proactive management of training data planned through this channel.
Proactively collaborate with affiliate medical teams including Country Medical Directors and Regional Medical Leads to understand and address local training needs and country priorities.
Accountable for contributing to establishing and maintaining a learning culture which promotes excitement for lifelong learning across the Global Medical community
Main Responsibilities
Design and delivery of therapeutic area scientific training for all medical functions
Responsible for the design and delivery of all scientific trainings to the global medical community for the Assets within the portfolio they cover; incorporates adult learning principles into the design of trainings and creates blended learner journeys that ensures training is meaningful, memorable, and ultimately enhances business performance.
Identify, develop, and implement training solutions for all medical functions in the following core areas:
Onboarding and Certification ensuring our medical teams have the highest level of scientific knowledge to be able to conduct their roles effectively as well as having a positive onboarding experience.
Advance in the therapy area and new data releases with a focus on those that impact our strategy to increase the depth and breadth of scientific expertise across the global medical community.
Leadership within a high performing team
Considered the internal Learning and Development expert within the Global Medical Team
Engages with appropriate professional organizations to stay abreast of new and innovative training solutions and technologies (using adult education principles) and leads on initiatives to achieve the Global Medical Ambition
Collaborate to develop synergy with the wider L&D community including the Strategic Business Excellence team in the training approach for all scientific related projects and co-create training materials where appropriate.

Adherence to Ipsen’s Compliance Policies and Procedures
The Knowledge Transfer Director is expected to comply with all Ipsen SOPs, Policies, Directive and relevant National guidelines.
Follow all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of all activities
Qualifications
Educated to Degree Level and ideally with a post-graduate Degree e.g. MSc, PhD, MD, PharmD, MBA
Strong scientific background with ability to flex across different therapy areas
Extensive experience in medical affairs such as MSL, Medical Advisor, Training
Strong experience in developing and delivering scientific training and strong scientific acumen
Project management experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry including experience of Veeva Systems
Exceptional critical thinking to help identify and address performance needs
Exceptional communication skills
Demonstrated ability to provide strong direct global project management/leadership skills
Experience as a Coach or Mentor would be advantageous
Experience in Performance Consulting would be preferred
Fluency in English
Fluency in other languages such as French and Spanish would be advantageous
