Job Description
Sandoz continues to go through an exciting and transformative period as a global leader in pioneering access of biosimilar and generic medicines. As a congress planner, you’ll be responsible for specialized operational support for Meeting, Congress & Events across Sandoz. This role will focus on ensuring compliant events, completing governance processes and P3 applications. This role is also responsible for securing and monitoring attendee registrations, exhibit badges, sponsorships, and housing for national and regional events across the enterprise.
Major Accountabilities:
Event Planning & Vendor Coordination
Gather and review prospectus guides to identify event requirements
Support vendor outreach to secure necessary services for events
Coordinate with vendors to secure registration, sponsorships, booth space, and attendee needs
Manage end-to-end execution with US-based associations to secure and implement exhibit and ancillary congress space
Execute required compliance reporting of information from request to reconciliation
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records related to attendance, budgets, and financials
Prepare and deliver reports on event performance and spend
Financial Management
Provide monthly reconciliation of congress-related expenses
Ensure compliance with internal financial and governance standards
Key Performance Indicators:
Compliance, financial stewardship, and accurate congress execution
Timeliness and accuracy of attendee, housing, and registration workflows
Vendor performance and stakeholder satisfaction
Work Experience:
BS/ BA Degree required
Operations Management and Execution
Project Management
Pharma experience preferred
Corporate communications
Vendor management
Trade show & event management
US Pharma/Bio Market Experience
