About the job

As Compliance Lead (Engineering) in our Manufacturing & Supply team in Tuas, you will keep engineering and maintenance operations inspection-ready and lead the improvements that stop deviations coming back. Ready to get started?

Join the global network that enables Sanofi to deliver seamlessly, purposefully and at scale. At our Tuas site in Singapore you will sit where engineering meets quality - owning the compliance agenda for Engineering & Maintenance, partnering with Quality, Manufacturing and Validation, and helping a highly regulated biologics operation stay reliable and audit-ready. In Manufacturing & Supply, you will help reimagine how life-changing treatments reach people everywhere, faster.

About Sanofi

Our deep understanding of the immune system and our innovative pipeline enable us to invent medicines and vaccines that treat and protect millions of people around the world. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives.

Key responsibilities

- Own the compliance agenda for Engineering & Maintenance, keeping quality system requirements and inspection readiness on track.

- Drive deviations, CAPAs, change controls and periodic reviews to closure on time, leading investigations and root cause analysis so the same issues stop recurring.

- Prepare the department for internal audits, regulatory inspections and external audits, and support the teams through them.

- Track compliance metrics and turn what they show into improvements in quality performance and reliability.

- Review engineering procedures, standards and documentation for accuracy, effectiveness and compliance.

- Build compliance capability across the department through training and day-to-day coaching.

- Partner with Quality, Manufacturing and Validation on GMP and regulatory alignment, and act as the compliance adviser to Engineering leadership.

About you

- Experience in engineering, maintenance, quality or compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment.

- Strong working knowledge of GMP, GDP and GxP requirements and quality management systems.

- Hands-on experience managing deviations, investigations, CAPAs, change controls and audit or inspection activities.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take a root cause investigation through to a defensible conclusion.

- Excellent technical writing and stakeholder management skills in English - much of this role is producing a written record that stands up to an inspector.

- Degree in engineering, life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences or a related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.

Why choose us?

- Shape the future of medicine and vaccine delivery with cutting-edge technology, ensuring seamless launches and a resilient global supply.

- Every year we distribute more than 4 billion units of medicines and vaccines, making sure people worldwide can access the treatments they trust.

- Grow, thrive and make an impact in a workplace where you can bring your best self every day, with pride.

- Take care of yourself and your loved ones with rich health and wellbeing benefits, including top-tier healthcare and 14 weeks of gender-neutral parental leave.

- Work in a highly regulated biologics manufacturing environment held to global quality standards.

- Own the compliance agenda for an entire department, with direct access to Engineering leadership.

- See where your work lands - reliable supply to patients depends on the systems you keep inspection-ready.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
