We are looking for a Working Student (all genders) to join the M-Trust™ team within the company's Science & Technology Office. As part of a passionate, global team focused on innovation, you will actively contribute to one of the company's most exciting and forward-looking proprietary technologies.
This is a unique opportunity to make your mark. You will play an active part in the transition of M-Trust™ from beta to a fully launched product, working in close collaboration with the Life Science business and contributing directly to a high-tech platform that is redefining supply chain quality on a global scale. M-Trust™ is the company's first-to-market, secure trust platform that immutably links the physical and digital worlds to ensure product authenticity, traceability, and quality assurance across highly regulated industries. Your contributions will have a tangible impact: helping to bring a groundbreaking innovation to market, strengthening the company's presence in the digital trust space, and supporting the implementation of the EU Digital Product Passport, one of the most significant regulatory shifts shaping global supply chains today.

Your Role:
Support the further development of in-house hardware devices, work hands-on with embedded systems, PCBs, and electronic prototypes
Debug firmware issues on existing and new devices and analyze and troubleshoot hardware-related problems
Perform functional, integration, and reliability testing, document test results, bugs, and technical findings
Assist in prototype setup, bring-up, and validation
Contribute to improvements in device performance and stability
Support PCB design tasks and hardware optimization
Support the evaluation and development of new device ideas
Your Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong interest in embedded hardware, firmware development, and PCB design
First experience with microcontrollers, embedded systems, or electronics development
Basic programming skills in C, C++, or Python
Basic understanding of electronics, schematics, and PCB layouts
Self-motivated and eager to learn
Responsible and reliable way of working
Structured, independent, and hands-on mindset
Familiarity with lab tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, or logic analyzers
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Fluency in German (C1) is required, and good communication skills in English (B2) are advantageous.
