POSITION PURPOSE:

The team Veeva Platform within the IT Technology and Engineering area is enabling the Development Business Functions to gain competitive advantage through process anddata integration and helping patients with Bayer's products.   Our contribution is the provisioning and maintenance of state-of-the-art IT platforms and architecture based on deep business process and technology knowledge. To reach our objectives we collaborate with our colleagues in the Commercial (incl. Medical Affairs) and R&D (Research & Development) domains of Clinical Development & Operations, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management in continuously improving and transforming our solution portfolio.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a Veeva Vault Integration Specialist Clinical (m/f/d) to support our team.

The main tasks of the position include:  You take care of the integrations for our Vault applications based on business requirements

Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines within the AWS cloud environment  Maintain ETL jobs and APIs using Python  Pro-actively troubleshoot any issues that arise

Drive an engineering mindset focused on continually improving technology offerings with focus on automated setup and monitoring of platform components  Collaborate with data scientists, IT product managers and IT Architects over the entire product lifecycle being active member of respective product teams

WHO YOU ARE:

University degree in science or information technology

Practical knowledge of AWS Cloud services and Terraform  Experience with containerization and container runtime orchestrators - Docker and Kubernetes on AWS (EKS)

Familiarity with workflow engines, i.e. Argo Workflows, AirFlow

Experience in using Python to develop APIs and data transformation solutions  Broad understanding and experience regarding scripting and coding best practices

Knowledge of business processes in or/and R&D (Research & Development)

Vault Platform is a plus  GxP expertise is preferred

Strong focus on teamwork and communication to collaborate on shared objectives in flexible DevOps teams

Fluent in English, both written and spoken
