The Technology Business Relationship Lead, Central Cluster Europe acts as the primary technology partner for the cluster, aligning business priorities with technology strategy, investments, and delivery. The role supports 9 countries across commercial, manufacturing, development, and GCC operations, driving demand management, stakeholder engagement, adoption of global solutions, and successful delivery of technology initiatives while serving as the key interface between Cluster Leadership and Global Technology.

Job Purpose

Own the technology agenda for Central Cluster Europe, acting as the senior business relationship partner between the cluster, countries, sites, and Global Technology. The role ensures clear prioritization, transparent demand management, adoption of global solutions, and delivery of technology initiatives aligned with business priorities.

Scope

The role covers Central Cluster Europe, including Poland, Austria, Croatia & Slovenia, Hungary, Romania & Moldova, and Czech Republic & Slovakia. The cluster represents 9 countries, approximately USD 1.1B 2025 net sales, 3,800+ employees, and a mixed setup across commercial, manufacturing, development, and GCC environments.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary Technology Business Relationship Lead for Central Cluster Europe, building trusted relationships with cluster and country leadership.

Own and consolidate technology demand across the cluster, ensuring alignment with business strategy, value, risk, and global technology priorities.

Represent cluster and country needs in global prioritization, portfolio, roadmap, and budget discussions.

Ensure Global Technology programs land in countries in an integrated, transparent, and predictable way.

Support adoption of global platforms and drive simplification of local applications and technology landscape.

Partner with commercial, manufacturing, development, GCC, and site stakeholders to ensure technology priorities reflect business continuity and growth needs.

Coordinate delivery through global technology teams, ensuring clear ownership, escalation, and follow-up.

Provide visibility to cluster leadership on ongoing initiatives, risks, dependencies, investment needs, and service performance.

Support STEP and other transformation programs across the cluster, especially where manufacturing and development environments increase complexity.

Drive effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and change adoption across a multi-country matrix environment.

Reduction and rationalization of local applications

Visibility of risks, costs, and investment needs

Successful support of STEP (company Transformation program) and global program deployment

Required Experience

5+ years of experience in technology business partnering, project/program management, consulting, or digital transformation.

Strong experience working in matrix, multi-country organizations.

Good understanding of commercial, manufacturing, development, and site technology environments.

Experience in healthcare, pharma, generics, or life sciences preferred.

Proven ability to manage stakeholders without direct authority.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technology topics into business language.

Experience with technology demand management, portfolio prioritization, adoption, and change management.

Education and Languages

University degree in business, technology, science, or related field preferred.

Fluent English required.

Polish and/or other languages would be an advantage.

Compensation Structure & Criteria: 

Sandoz compensation is determined by job level, qualifications, niche skills, experience, and location within company salary ranges. Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement. Annual salary reviews consider performance outcomes, market alignment, and business needs.

Work mode: hybrid

Variable compensation:

- Annual performance-based bonus: 18%
