The Position

The Technical Services Veterinarian will be responsible for providing technical leadership to our Companion Animal Business and field technical support in New South Wales.

We are looking for candidates in New South Wales, based in or around Sydney. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position (12 months) to cover a parental leave vacancy.  This role requires significant travel across Australia, predominantly in New South Wales.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Provide technical training and support to Territory Managers and assist their in-field sales activities

Using your technical knowledge and experiences, work closely with internal stakeholders to provide technical support to maximise the commercial success of the portfolio

Provide technical leadership to support the development of marketing strategies and production of technical marketing materials, ensuring that the technical reputation of the company and the quality of material published by the company is of the highest standard

Ensure key relationships with opinion leaders and influencers are developed, maintained, and leveraged

Ensure adverse experience incidents are handled at field level, and the reporting process is compliant with internal standards and compliant with regulatory requirements

Ensuring compliance to ethical, professional and company standards are upheld

About Our Future Employee

A degree in Veterinary Science with registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of New South Wales

A minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in companion animal veterinary practice

Valid driver’s license

Excellent communication skills with strong empathy and developed emotional resilience

The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Superior organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines

Proficient in using MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)

Effective presentation skills

Excellent attention to detail
