As The Supply Chain Manager (SCM), you will be accountable and responsible for the end-to-end supply chain management and processes in Roche Vietnam including issues management, logistics operations, 3PL/4PL management, order management, transportation and deliveries of goods to customers. You will ensure that the Roche Quality Standards are applied throughout the supply chain processes. You will fully embrace and translate global and regional Supply Chain vision and strategic direction into business-aligned action plans and will lead the implementation of those strategies and action plans.
Your opportunities
You will drive and maintain high quality Supply Chain services to our customers, both internal and external, proactively working with relevant stakeholders to ensure availability of products on a timely basis and at optimized quantity levels.
You will provide governance and ensure adherence to all supply chain policies, procedures, and activities to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness, resilience, and cost effectiveness of the Roche Vietnam's Supply Chain processes, including materials planning and control, import and export, customs clearance, inventory management, warehousing, transport and distribution.
You will ensure execution of end to end tasks of the Supply Chain process are fully monitored and controlled. You will supervise daily Supply Chain operational details, manage daily customer order processing and related customer service support, ensuring On Time In Full KPIs are adhered to and address customer logistics related complaints and drive actions to improve customer satisfaction.
You will manage 3PL/4PL providers to ensure requirements are aligned with Global Logistics Quality Standards, challenge and work closely with 3PL/4PL providers to ensure fulfillment of their duties, carry out periodic performance reviews of all 3PL/4PL service providers to facilitate their service improvements.
You will take proactive approach in optimizing stock levels and minimize write-offs resulting from expired/overstocking, manage bottleneck/supply issues with customers by managing customers’ expectations and work closely with Product Managers for stock allocation in the market. You will drive S&OP Process.
You will drive continuous improvement by seeking opportunities to change business processes for efficiency improvement and cost optimization, obtain buy in from stakeholders and ensure implementation of improvement plans internally within SCM and with 3PL/4PL providers are tracked and monitored
You will collaborate cross functionally within the affiliate and globally and with 3PL/4PL providers to resolve operational challenges
Manage the Supply Chain budgets; monitor the performance of all Supply Chain activities and KPIs.
As Transport Safety Advisor, you will support the management in fulfilling its responsibility regarding all matters related to transport safety and security and be responsible for coordinating interactions with the transportation safety and security authorities.
Ensure that global directives, as well as local regulations are known by relevant stakeholders within the affiliate and that local procedures fulfilling these requirements are established and followed and that the necessary training is given.
You will lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the Supply Chain team’s skills and knowledge and motivate the team.
Who You Are
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field from a reputable University (local/overseas)
You have proven minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain setting in MNCs and 3 years of experience as a people manager
You have excellent customer service orientation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in fast paced environment
You are proficient or hands-on experience of SAP (MM and SD modules)
You have fluent communication in English and Vietnamese
