DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Supervisor, CQ Lead, located in Thailand.
Job Overview
The Supervisor, CQ Lead – Thailand is responsible for leading Commercial Quality activities to ensure compliance, product quality, and patient safety across the Thailand market. This role partners closely with Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and regional Quality teams to support product lifecycle activities, manage quality events, and drive continuous improvement. This position plays a critical role in ensuring market readiness, regulatory compliance, and customer confidence in DePuy Synthes products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Commercial Quality activities for the Thailand market, ensuring compliance with internal quality systems and applicable regulatory requirements.
Supervise and provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and development to Commercial Quality team members.
Oversee quality event management, including complaints, nonconformances, investigations, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Partner with Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain teams to support product launches, changes, and ongoing market supply.
Ensure effective execution of post‑market surveillance, complaint trending, and escalation processes.
Support internal and external audits and inspections, including preparation, execution, and follow‑up actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Serve as the primary Commercial Quality contact for Thailand, collaborating with regional and global Quality stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Commercial Quality, or a regulated medical device or pharmaceutical environment.
Previous experience leading teams or providing supervisory oversight.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and post‑market quality processes.
Experience managing complaints, investigations, nonconformances, and CAPA.
Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
Preferred:
Experience supporting commercial operations in Southeast Asia or emerging markets.
Familiarity with Thailand FDA regulations and regional regulatory expectations.
Experience in the orthopedic or broader medical device industry.
Experience supporting or leading audits and regulatory inspections.
Knowledge of continuous improvement or risk management methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Other:
Language: Fluent in Thai and English (written and verbal).
Travel: Moderate domestic travel with occasional regional travel.
Certifications: Quality‑related certifications (e.g., ASQ) preferred .
