Operations Strategy & Business Resilience (OSBR) is a diverse internal management consulting arm of Operations that serves as trusted advisors to the company’s leaders in transformational and critical matters at the business perimeter. About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Operations Strategy & Business Resilience – Project Management & Analytics or Strategic Resource Planning to join Amgen India (AIN). This role will be an integral member of a high-performing global OSBR team chartered to deliver structured project management, analytics, governance, and business insights that enable unbiased recommendations and value creation for Amgen Operations.

The Manager will be responsible for managing assigned OSBR business cases and analytical workstreams within their delivery pod, including project planning, milestone tracking, issue management, quality review, and coordination with the global OSBR team. The role will partner with global OSBR colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders to support Network and Commercialization business cases, project intake, project timelines, executive-ready communications, and advanced analytics including manufacturing capacity modeling and scenario analysis.

This individual will manage a small team of 1 to 2 people and will be accountable for the delivery, quality, prioritization, and stakeholder coordination of assigned OSBR work within their delivery pod. The Manager will provide coaching, prioritization, oversight, and first-line quality review to ensure strong delivery outcomes.

The role requires a combination of project leadership, problem solving, analytical judgment, business acumen, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment. The Manager will resolve project-level issues where possible and escalate risks, trade-offs, or resource constraints to the Associate Director when they may impact delivery, quality, or timelines.

Because this role works closely with Amgen’s California headquarters, the Manager is expected to maintain flexible working hours that provide meaningful overlap with the California-based team, typically from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Job Responsibilities

Experience of 8-13 Years managing assigned OSBR business cases and analytical workstreams within the pod, including project planning, milestone tracking, issue management, quality review, and coordination with the global OSBR team.

Partner with Commercialization and Network Strategy teams on assigned business cases, including Commercialization Portals, format and scale assessments, site selections, capacity modeling, long-range scenario evaluations, and network business cases.

Lead structured project management for assigned OSBR work, including project intake, workplan development, stakeholder alignment, governance cadence, risk management, and delivery of outcomes within agreed timelines and scope.

Drive analytics and insight generation for assigned OSBR business cases and project workstreams, including scenario analysis, operating assumptions, risk quantification, capacity modeling support, and supply / capacity visualization.

Review and challenge analytical outputs from the GCF L4 Associate Manager to ensure accuracy, appropriate use of assumptions, business relevance, decision relevance, and executive readiness.

Ensure assigned analyses use the correct supply requirements, manufacturing capacity parameters, approved assumptions, business context, and relevant OSBR / Amgen Operations inputs.

Translate complex analytics and project information into clear, concise communications for senior leaders, including dashboards, visualizations, PowerPoint presentations, and decision-support materials.

Resolve project-level issues where possible and escalate risks, trade-offs, timeline concerns, quality concerns, or resource constraints to the Associate Director when they may impact delivery or stakeholder expectations.

Build and improve repeatable project management and analytics templates, tools, dashboards, and ways of working for OSBR AIN in partnership with the Associate Director, global OSBR colleagues, and process owners.

Manage, coach, and develop one GCF L4 Associate Manager responsible for analytics execution and project support, while promoting ownership, accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and inclusion
