Statutory Accounting Senior Specialist with German

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

Prepares statutory financial statements and reports for filing with regulatory agencies by applying relevant accounting standards (e.g., local GAAP, IFRS).

Analyzes the impacts of new accounting standards, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards on existing and new transactions.

Conducts Profit & Loss (P&L) and balance sheet analysis, including variance analysis that supports notes and management commentary in statutory financial accounts and reports.

Actively participate in statutory audit

Take full ownership of outcomes within your country cluster as an empowered squad member.

Record, verify, and execute tasks of moderate complexity according to process guidelines.

Perform internal controls, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Update and create documentation as needed; monitor KPIs and take appropriate action.

Actively participate in relevant meetings and collaborate closely with your team.

Provide back-up support for other R2R team members.

Proactively engage and co-create with finance stakeholders to deliver value.

Collaborate with key business partners and global networks to ensure seamless, customer-focused operations.

Escalate problems promptly to accelerate decisions and support issue resolution.

Support process improvements and innovation for greater efficiency and effectiveness

Who You Are: 

University degree preferable in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Economics or relevant degree.

Certified tax advisor or accounting certificate - beneficial.

At least 2 years’ professional experience in Accounting, Controlling, Taxes, Financial Analysis or similar fields.

Good understanding of global accounting, controlling tax processes and their point of intersection with other business processes.

Advanced level of knowledge of technical accounting, and financial reporting in a corporate environment according to IFRS and local GAAP.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency in English language skills, proficiency in German language skills,

Knowledge of ERP (SAP FI, CO, S4HANA), BI systems and Microsoft Office applications would be beneficial

Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, initiative, and reliability.

Ability to work through ambiguity and usage of sound judgment in making decisions.

Excellent communication skills and analytical thinking.

Good level of ability to establish and maintain a sustainable stakeholder network.

Motivation, communication, teamwork, and ability to operate in a highly intercultural environment.

The minimum gross monthly salary for this role is 7.200,00 PLN. The final salary will be determined based on objective factors such as professional experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility.

This position is be eligible for variable pay components, such as annual or performance-based bonuses, awarded in accordance with the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.
