This is an opportunity for an experienced technical professional who enjoys solving difficult engineering challenges, leading investigations and improving equipment performance in a highly regulated GMP manufacturing environment.
The Position
As a Senior Technical Filling Professional, you will become the technical owner for assigned production equipment, leading complex investigations, driving continuous improvement and ensuring equipment reliability continues to improve over time.
Rather than simply responding to breakdowns, you will focus on understanding root causes, implementing sustainable improvements and preventing future issues. Working closely with Skilled Workers, Production and QA, you will play a critical role in supporting safe, reliable and efficient manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Take technical ownership of assigned production equipment.
Lead complex root cause investigations and technical troubleshooting.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability.
Develop long-term equipment improvement strategies.
Support preventive maintenance planning and optimisation.
Collaborate with Skilled Workers, Production and QA to resolve technical challenges.
Develop technical documentation and equipment instructions.
Support equipment modifications, validation activities and change control.
Ensure equipment remains compliant with GMP requirements.
Identify opportunities to reduce recurring equipment failures and improve production stability.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
Experience supporting automated manufacturing or production equipment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Experience working within GMP or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of equipment reliability and preventive maintenance strategies.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English. Danish is advantageous or willingness to learn.

Salary & Benefits
Novo Nordisk offers a competitive reward package including a salary in the range of 651,000 to 956,900 DKK per year, annual bonus, pension, private healthcare and a comprehensive benefits package, together with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development.
