Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting for a Service Quality Engineer, located in Cincinnati, OH.

The Service Quality Engineer plays a key role in supporting the quality and compliance of service and repair operations for J&J MedTech Surgery Energy products. This position partners closely with Service Engineering, Complaint Management, Service Solutions, and cross-functional teams to ensure service processes meet quality, regulatory, and customer requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
In accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and Johnson & Johnson policies and procedures, this position is responsible for:
Provide quality engineering support for service and repair operations in the Cincinnati Service Center and international service centers.
Support complaint investigations, nonconformance management, CAPAs, and audit readiness activities.
Analyze quality metrics and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and risk reduction.
Collaborate with new product introduction and lifecycle management teams to ensure serviceability and repair considerations are incorporated into product development.
Support quality and cost improvement projects that enhance service performance and customer satisfaction.
Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Assist in evaluating repaired products, spare parts, and service processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in a Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) field is strongly preferred. Non-STEM graduates with additional technical training or experience will also be considered.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative environment.
Preferred:
Experience in a regulated medical device, pharmaceutical, or biopharmaceutical environment.
Knowledge of quality systems, CAPA, root cause analysis, risk management, validation, and process improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, DMADV, FMEA, MSA, statistical process control, or related quality engineering tools.
Travel: Up to 10%

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$65,000.00 - $104,650.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
