About this opportunity

This position is responsible for executing Quality System to enhance it in Electronics –  Kaohsiung Plant I site for Thin Film products includes the control and coordination of ISO 9001 System Certification, and the use of that platform as a vehicle to enhance Business Quality KPI Performance, Process Continuously Improvement (CIP), and Internal Process & System Auditing. Coordinate Customer Complaint and follow up to resolve them and meet customer acceptable timelines, customer nonconformance investigation, customer surveys, quality data programs (SPC/SQC), new products qualification and implementation, and overall support to ensure our products’ quality aligns with customers’ expectations.

Your Role  

The nature of the position reports to Kaohsiung Plant I Site Quality Manager. The incumbent has the responsibility to support Site Quality Manager in implementation & maintenance of the Quality Management System, handling and resolving quality issues for Kaohsiung Plant I site & Customers.

The role covers:

1.        Quality Management

l    To supervise the document management complied with the ISO9001 certification requirement and reflects to global procedures and local activities.

l    In accordance with corporate Quality Policy to coordinate corporate annual Quality Objectives with Management Representatives and support stakeholders implemented thoroughly.

l    Monitor progress to quality plan to assure quality initiatives implemented on schedule

l    Participate/Coordinate the Quality Management Review (QMR) meeting and support stakeholders to implement quality management system thoroughly.

l    Ensure the internal audit to be implemented to make the quality system feasible and effective.

l    To lead or supervise the Complaint, MOC and non-conformance with proper resolution.

l    To coordinate with teams for the 3rd parties (ISO certification/Customers) and internal audits.

2.        Operation Quality

l    Coordinate the related regular/Urgent DRB review (local Discrepancy Review Board)

l    Execute SPC/SQC, control limit review and OOC/OOT investigation of products.

l    SPC/SQC requirement of products for internal or customers.

l    Other activities which are related to quality scope by tasks allocated as needs, including but not limited: (1) Quality management(QM) Data and Power user(PU) in SAP/LIMS/Labware Admin; (2)Data base, analysis tool (excel, NWQA, Minitab, Tableau..)/SPC/ DRB; (3)Quarterly SQC report for customers if defined; (4)Customer Survey/Request/Complaint/PCN/NMSE Coordinator for Jade-SG; (5)Data Coordinator for Product Traceability and iSTAR offering to key customers.

3.        Quality Activities in Kaohsiung Plant I

l    Support site operation system Continuously Improvement Process(CIP), like QCC/TCIA.

l    Quality training coordinator, and then trainer.

l    Quality stand-down Days

l    Mock recall activity

l    Support IQP Quality data preparation, review, and co-work with MM/Project manager for GCB review.

l    Site QNews, Site Monthly meeting and KPI monthly update

4.        Quality Concepts, Attitude & Ownership:

l    Have curiosity and patience, want to understand customers, listen VOC(Voice of Customers), learn business and manufacturing interaction as well as knowledge of site quality management and systems, processes and procedures.

l    Ownership and Accountability: Can support manager, ask questions when task facing trouble, feedback risks and doing the job spontaneously.

l    Support new products implementation or promotion to customer site. (ex. TEA)

l    Support new business opportunity data package.

l    Customer application issue: QC control & process data review, problem solving meeting, CIP and so on…

l    Coordinate cross site support from Kaohsiung Plant I.

Who You Are

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy, material science or related fields.

Working Experiences: 59 years’ minimum in chemical or semiconductor industry in Quality role or similar jobs.

Professional Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS Requirements; Problem solving skills such as RCA, 8D, 5Why’s Familiarity with FMEA’s and Control Plans Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Mind Manager; plus reference for NWQA, Minitab, JMP, SAP Knowledge of LIMS, 6 sigma a plus Good English communication skills both written and verbal.
