Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute category strategy for FDF (Finished Dosage Forms) / External Supply category at regional/global level.
Translate global category strategies into actionable sourcing plans, ensuring alignment with business priorities and supply continuity.
Drive end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier identification, qualification, negotiations, and contract execution within external manufacturing networks.
Own and manage supplier relationships, including CMOs, ensuring strong performance management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
Deliver measurable value through cost optimization, innovation, and efficiency improvements across assigned categories.
Lead complex, cross-functional projects involving supply chain, quality, regulatory, and technical stakeholders.
Develop and maintain robust market intelligence on supplier landscape, industry trends, and risks impacting pharmaceutical supply.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
Requirements & Experience
Significant experience in pharmaceutical procurement, with strong exposure to FDF or Pharmaceutical Direct Material categories.
Proven track record working with Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sites, Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and/or experience in Business Development & Licensing (BD&L).
Strong strategic sourcing and negotiation experience managing high-value, complex supply agreements.
Deep understanding of pharmaceutical supply chains, regulatory environment, and quality requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage supplier performance and drive value through partnerships and innovation.
Experience operating in global and cross-cultural environments with multiple stakeholders.
Strong business acumen, with the ability to balance cost, quality, and supply risk in decision-making.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills, with fluency in English.
