Medical Representative – Oncology Team, Bucharest
The candidate should:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the healthcare marketplace
Demonstrate a deep understanding of oncology patient disease states and available therapeutic options
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of current oncology treatment guidelines (e.g., ESMO, NCCN, local protocols)
Understand the customer (systems, accounts and key stakeholders, oncologists, hematologists, tumor board/multidisciplinary team members, hospital pharmacists)
Use promotional aids, clinical data and reprints effectively
Understand local healthcare system(s), including the oncology patient pathway (diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, approval committees)
Follow compliance, ethical and legal guidelines
Analyze territory and accounts to make trade-off decisions utilizing relevant data and resources (e.g., results, quota, tracking tools, segmentation, etc.)
Identify opportunities after considering growth potential, benefit and effort, account influence and access
Stay current on competitors' products within the oncology portfolio
Apply product knowledge to achieve goals
Leverage each interaction with customers through professionalism, respect, integrity, expertise, relationships and passion (Every Interaction Matters)
Collaborate with teammates to create exceptional customer experiences
Engage in valuable dialogue by asking about customers' priorities and showing sensitivity to time constraints, regardless of level or role within account
Respond quickly and appropriately to customer needs
Evaluate execution of territory and account plans and act quickly to adjust plans based on results
Actively seek customer feedback
Address customer questions, concerns and complaints promptly and accurately
Gain access to customers (including restricted-access settings typical of the oncology hospital environment)
Effectively handle customer objections
Use appropriate closing/negotiation techniques
Record details of the promotional call and prepare next call objective
Follow up with customers on commitments
Understand customer priorities and how those priorities impact their decision making
Build and maintain business relationships to deliver a high-quality customer experience
Manage territory using KPI metrics
Identify relevant customer and territory market information
Knowledge and Skills to perform the job:
A strong track record of professional work ethic
Previous experience in promoting prescription medicines in Oncology (experience in related therapeutic areas such as Hematology is a plus)
Executive-level presentation skills
Business English (Written & Oral) fluency
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
A positive, energetic attitude
