We are seeking a Senior Manager Regulatory Strategy Oncology & Japan Affairs to join our Regulatory Affairs team, supporting our Japan business in a hybrid work model. In this role, you will lead Japan regulatory strategies across multiple therapeutic areas while collaborating with global regulatory teams and local cross-functional partners. Discover your role:

• Plan and execute Japan regulatory strategies and PMDA consultations for assigned programs

• Lead marketing application and post-approval change submissions

• Partner with local and global leadership to support Regulatory Affairs operations

• Manage interactions with PMDA and other Japanese health authorities

• Lead or support clinical trial notification preparation and submission activities

• Represent Regulatory Affairs within clinical, commercial, medical, and patient safety teams

• Support local labeling, patient information, and promotional material review activities

• You build strong partnerships across a global matrix environment

This role requires:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline; Master's degree preferred

• 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry and 5+ years of relevant regulatory experience

• Experience managing health authority interactions, major submissions, and approvals in Japan

• Deep knowledge of Japan submission requirements, local regulations, and regulatory standards

• Knowledge of clinical trial requirements and ability to resolve local procedural challenges

• Experience supporting business start-up activities

• Ability to ensure compliance with Japan regulatory requirements and local standards

• Strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to thrive in and foster effective matrix teamwork in a global environment

• Fluent Japanese and English language skills
