Senior Expert Digitalization (all genders), Dormagen
As Senior Expert Digitalization (all genders) at the Dormagen site, you lead the site’s digital transformation to enable connected, data-driven product supply. You identify, design, and scale cloud- and platform-enabled technologies in close collaboration with global and local product supply, OnePSS, CPI, and AIM Strategy & Operational Excellence to deliver site-level value and empower site personnel
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and steer the digital transformation and its implementation at the sit
Advise local product supply functions and the Site Steering Committee on digital manufacturing and Industrie 4.0 using cloud and platform-enabled technologies
Design and execute the site digital vision and drive projects to realize the Digital Roadmap
Identify digital enhancement potential and mobilize communities to adopt digitally enabled solutions
Manage the site digital community, leverage synergies from site projects, and ensure alignment with global digital strategies
Enable automatic availability of data and develop local data infrastructure to support data-driven analysis and decision making
Consult on and support implementation of analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, PIC, Trendminer, and Power BI
Foster a digital manufacturing culture through training, change management, and hands-on visualization projects
WHO YOU ARE
Master’s degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, process engineering, or a related discipline
Practical experience in digital manufacturing and Industrie 4.0 within a process or life science environment
Strong track record in leading cross-functional teams, stakeholder management, and technical project management
Structured thinker with proven ability in concept development for complex technical challenges
Proficiency with analytical and visualization tools such as Tableau, PIC, Trendminer, and Power BI
Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL and experience designing and operating AWS infrastructure for data pipelines
Excellent communication and listening skills with ability to drive change and win stakeholders for complex technical solutions
Ability to work in intercultural environments with strong lateral leadership skills
Fluent written and spoken German language skills, as well as very good English skills
