Reporting to the Associate Director, Commercial Hematology, the Senior Brand Manager, Hematology will play a critical role in executing and shaping brand strategy during an exciting period for Jaypirca with multiple new indications planned. This role supports our current in-market launch of Jaypirca, tactical delivery of HCP initiatives, thought-leader engagement, and future launch planning for various indication expansions. You will work closely with marketing leadership, cross-functional teams, and field partners to help accelerate adoption, prepare for future launches, and establish Lilly as a key hematology player.
This is a hybrid role – onsite presence at our Toronto office will be 10 days or more per month (or at least 50% of the time), determined in collaboration with your manager and based on business needs. This role may require up to 10-15% travel.
At Lilly Canada, we have different levels of Brand Manager positions based on the candidate’s experience, background, and qualifications. The expected compensation is:
Brand Manager: $91,500 - $134,200
Sr Brand Manager: $111,750 - $163,900
This role is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as participation in the Lilly Bonus Program.

Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Execution
Champion patient support program (PSP) enrollment as a key brand initiative; collaborate with Sales and PSP teams to drive Jaypirca uptake, remove access barriers, and ensure a seamless patient experience.
Execute on our upcoming CLL launches and launch meetings.
Support the development and refinement of Jaypirca’s brand strategy across future indications (CLL and MCL), aligned with Global and IBU strategic direction.
Translate customer, competitive, and market insights into strategies that enhance both breadth of adoption and depth of use.
Lead omnichannel engagement planning and execution, including segmentation, journey mapping, and CET.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
Partner with Sales, Medical, Legal/Regulatory, Learning & Development, Digital, and Analytics teams to ensure smooth execution of brand initiatives.
Collaborate across the hematology team to ensure integration and seamless, coordinated experiences for internal partners and customers including thought leader engagement activities.
Tactical Execution & Omnichannel Activation
Lead the development and execution of promotional tactics (VAEs, IVAs, emails, website/material updates).
Ensure creative and campaign assets align with Lilly/Jaypirca brand standards.
Support reimbursement milestones and listing strategy communication to field and stakeholder audiences in collaboration with PRA partners.
Ensure all tactics meet internal and external compliance requirements (e.g., PAAB, IMC, adverse event reporting).
Field Team Support & Enablement
Collaborate with Sales and Learning & Development to reinforce Lilly Selling Model, close product knowledge and clinical care gaps, and support in-market execution.
Disseminate brand updates, gather field insights, and ensure ongoing alignment between the brand team and customer-facing teams.
Provide clear, compliant brand pull-through guidance and support field learning workshops and training especially with future launch indications.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Partner with Sales Insights and Market Research to monitor KPIs, brand health metrics, campaign performance, and field feedback.
Recommend optimization opportunities to strengthen impact, accelerate adoption, and refine the customer experience.
Basic Requirements: Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, marketing, or related field.
5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, brand management, or commercial roles (Sales, Sales Insights, Learning & Development, Digital, or similar).
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong strategic thinking, project management skills, and comfort operating in a fast-moving, highly dynamic market.
Business acumen skills – budget management, strategic trade-offs, development and monitoring of lead metrics.
Additional Skills & Preferences
Previous pharmaceutical product launch experience an asset.
TA experience: understanding of hematology/oncology, along with the competitive environment in CLL and/or MCL is an asset.
Bilingualism is an asset.

$91,500 - $163,900
Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
