Senior Brand Manager

The Market Access and Tenders Senior Brand Manager will broaden access for UK people to GSK’s innovative Vaccines and help protect people against disease.  They will do this by creating the environment for introduction of National Immunisation Programmes and facilitating access to GSK Vaccines on the UK Routine Immunisation Schedule.

This pivotal role will lead the development and implementation of the UK market access strategy for a portfolio of vaccines. You will work collaboratively with a broad range of cross-functional partners across the UK, regional and global teams – including Medical Affairs, Health Outcomes, Communications and Government Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Finance and Therapy Area teams – to secure and sustain optimal access for patients and the NHS.

The successful candidate will need to be agile, with the ability to successfully manage multiple and changing priorities in a dynamic environment. They will demonstrate strong attention to detail and a disciplined, process-driven approach, ensuring the high-quality, timely and compliant delivery of projects.

In this role you will:

Lead brand strategy and operational plans for key vaccines (e.g. Meningococcal, RSV), with a focus on expanding eligible patient cohorts, securing routine immunisation access and driving optimal use across target populations.

Lead tender teams in the development and execution of UK vaccines tender strategies, shaping bid approaches, aligning commercial and clinical value propositions, and delivering high-quality, compliant and compelling submissions that secure sustainable access in national and regional tenders.

Be accountable for forecasting, sales turnover and profitability across both tender and private markets for the aligned portfolios.

Engage and work collaboratively with a wide range of cross functional stakeholders and matrix teams within the UK Local Operating Company and at region and global levels

Localise and leverage global content and develop locally relevant materials to support brand and portfolio objectives.

Lead GSK Flu Anti-Viral Portfolio for seasonal influenza and potential requirements for Influenza Pandemic preparedness.

Basic qualifications and skills:

University degree, ideally in Health Sciences, Business or Social Sciences (or a related discipline)

Strong project management skills with an ability to plan, prioritise and deliver multiple workstreams

Experience of working in, and preferably leading, large cross-functional matrix teams

Excellent communication with the ability to influence and collaborate across a range of stakeholders.

Strong execution focus, with attention to detail and a clear drive to add value at an operational level.

Proven ability to analyse, interpret and synthesise data to inform strategy and decision-making

Demonstrated commercial acumen, including an understanding of tender dynamics and value propositions

Strong sense of personal accountability, integrity and ownership of outcomes

Solid understanding of the NHS and wider UK healthcare landscape, including UK public procurement requirements and processes.

Good knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice & UK governance requirements

Work Environment

This role is offered as a hybrid position with regular time in a UK office and flexibility to work remotely as agreed with the hiring manager.
