What You Do
Achieve assigned sales targets by managing and growing accounts within the assigned territory.
Identify customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and build long-term customer relationships to drive revenue growth.
Manage the full sales process, from opportunity identification and solution presentation to quotation, negotiation, and closing, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer success.
Provide scientific and product/application-focused continuity to the sales process and customer experience through pre- and post-sales support.
Deliver scientific insights on the Discovery Solution product portfolio through technical presentations and product demonstrations.
Engage and build relationships with relevant Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to establish thought leadership and strengthen the company’s technical reputation in the region.
Provide comprehensive user training and advice on product utilization to enhance customer processes, applications, and research goals.
Collaborate with relevant internal departments to ensure customer needs are met and effectively communicated throughout the organization.
Analyze market trends and identify solutions to meet customer needs.
Develop applications and provide training for country sales teams to strengthen product knowledge based on market trends and drive market demand.
Identify and provide feedback on new product development ideas, strategic partnerships, and emerging technologies.
Maintain scientific expertise and stay informed about emerging applications and research areas.
Assist in developing marketing collateral and sales tools to support commercial teams.
Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance the company’s profile and generate business development opportunities.
Monitor external factors including competitors, pharmaceutical developments, government initiatives, and legislative changes impacting marketing activities, and communicate relevant information to sales, commercial, and customer support teams.
Participate in developing new project proposals with a customer-centric focus.
Foster positive relationships with partners, vendors, and distributors.
Who You Are
Master’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or other related disciplines.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of process excellence methodologies and tools.
Strong market intelligence skills, including research, data collection, and analysis.
Scientific expertise with experience in a customer-focused role.
Strong commercial acumen and market awareness.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Strong teamwork, coordination, and communication skills.
