Job Description
Join AbbVie and help make a meaningful impact for patients living with ovarian cancer, one of the most challenging cancers to treat. In this role, you’ll drive brand strategy in the field, build trusted customer relationships, and execute account plans that support both patient care and business success.
You’ll play an important role in advancing a pipeline of innovative therapies while operating with integrity and in full alignment with AbbVie’s Code of Conduct, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develops a pre-call plan with SMART objectives and completes post-call evaluations to continuously strengthen sales effectiveness. Confidently addresses objections, concerns, and misunderstandings, and consistently drives clear, logical next steps that support call close.
Proactively anticipates customer needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted relationships and create win-win outcomes for AbbVie and our customers.
Develops and executes multichannel call plans using available resources to achieve call metrics, optimize coverage and frequency, and maximize access and sales opportunities with key customers.
Builds deep knowledge of customer needs, market dynamics, competitors, disease state, products, and clinical expertise, and shares market intelligence with the field team and sales manager to support alignment, anticipate change, and strengthen brand strategy execution.
Differentiates AbbVie’s value proposition with healthcare providers and identifies, develops, and maintains disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.
Delivers against sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives, striving to meet or exceed expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, business related field, or equivalent.
Proven track record of success in sales performance within the Oncology therapeutic area, preferably in Gynecology/Brast/Ovarian/Woman Health Cancers.
Commercial pharmaceutical industry experiences such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care or marketing preferred.
Proven track record of success in selling and exceptional presentation skills. Proactively identifies customer style / behavior and adapts quickly all aspects of selling approach.
Demonstrates (or willingness for) in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge and is recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders preferably in Oncology.
English language proficiency verbally and in writing
Residency within Lisbon area
