Accountabilities
Sales Excellence and Strategic Execution- Achieve or exceed sales targets for AstraZeneca’s oncology portfolio within your territory.- Develop and implement a territory business plan aligned with AstraZeneca’s strategic goals.- Identify gaps in the patient's journey, optimize resource utilization, and drive growth.- Leverage customer insights, market data, and analytics to shape strategies.- Analyze sales targets and flag challenges in patients' journeys as needed.- Manage budgets effectively across all relevant territories.
Customer Engagement and Relationship Building- Build and maintain trusted partnerships with oncologists and healthcare providers.- Utilize omnichannel tools to deliver personalized and impactful work.- Facilitate engagements to strengthen AstraZeneca’s presence and leadership.
Oncology Expertise and Thought Leadership- Serve as a therapeutic expert, staying ahead of treatment trends.- Communicate AstraZeneca’s science, value, and differentiation effectively.- Collaborate with Brand managers and cross teams for consistent messaging.
Compliance and Ethical Standards- Act according to AstraZeneca’s Code of Ethics and local regulatory requirements.- Maintain transparency and integrity in all customer interactions.- Foster a culture of ethics and accountability.
Essential Skills/Experience- Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field.- Experience: - Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Sales Representative (advantage in Onco/Hemato). - Proven results in pharmaceutical sales, with oncology experience preferred. - Familiarity with cancer care pathways, treatment guidelines, and healthcare systems.- Skills: - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders. - Proficiency with digital tools, CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making. - Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to manage a large territory effectively.
Desirable Skills/Experience- Advanced degree (e.g., MSc, MBA, or PhD) in a relevant field.- Experience in launching oncology products in highly competitive markets.- Omnichannel customer engagement expertise.
