We are recruiting for the role of Release Train Engineer to plan and coordinate the implementation of product releases onto our global MedTech S/4Hana platform.

Description
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a SAP Release Train Engineer, located in Belgium (Beerse) or Ireland (Limerick) within the JJT Supply Chain organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize the flow of value through the SAP Agile Release Train (ART) using various tools like Solman, JIRA and ServiceNow
Accountable for the execution of change control processes according to SDLC (compliance)
Establish and communicate the annual calendars for sprint iterations, SAP product group increments (PI) and system refreshes
Key member of the SAP Platform Team to ensure new releases are not impacting stability and performance of the platform,
and make sure that technical debt is being resolved by Product teams
Liaise between Product teams and SAP Platform and ReliabilityTeam
Assist with execution and feature/capability completion tracking (OKRs/metrics)
Facilitate periodic synchronization, cut-over and metrics review meetings
Encourage collaboration between teams, system and solution Architects
Work with Technical Product Managers, Technical Product Owners, Tech Leads, and other stakeholders to communicate objectives, risks,
dependencies and key milestones to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
Manage risks and dependencies across teams, including Product teams and service teams (Integration, SAP Security, SAP Basis)
Drive continuous improvement via workshops; assess the maturity level continuum of the program/value stream
Contribute to improved processes and standards
Qualifications
Education:
We would love to hear from you if you have a bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or other related STEM fields
Experience and Skills:
Required:
5+ years of experience in SAP functional-technical skills like customizing and transports, in a Supply Chain domain, preferrable Order-to-Cash
Deep and effective expertise in SAP software delivery, Application integration, program management and stakeholder management
Strong familiarity with Agile Scrum and Agile metric techniques
(e.g., what to capture, how to interpret result, and how to use them to course correct)
Ability to assess the agility level of the ART and help them improve
Practical knowledge on SAP and Agile tooling: Solman, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow.
Preferred:
Strong familiarity with ART product vision and experience
Deep understanding of how to effectively scale Agile
Experience with SAP CTS transport system and Solution manager Change Control process
Leadership skills and behaviors:
Communicate effectively across the enterprise, platform, and team levels
Able to facilitate, listen and present in front of team and management
Coach and mentor to teams and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
Foster communities of practice and use of engineering and quality practices
Have a Lean-Agile mindset and competent in Lean-Agile principles and systems thinking
Be assertive, with the confidence to be the voice of authority – not afraid to do what is best for the team
Bring a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around them
Build a sense of trust that creates a comfortable & effective workplace
Develop an approach to solutions, expected to train and review the work of other technical staff
Advanced knowledge and understanding of principles and practices to address problems that may not be immediately

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€79.800,00 - €137.770,00
Benefits:
In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
