The Position

Job Summary:

The job holder ensures to meet/perform

- Develop and establish guidelines for engineers on product development related activities;

- Establish and implement technologies hands on training for R&D engineers;

- Support product related investigation leading by the manufacture site;

- Compliance with valid SOPs and safety rules;

- Take responsibility on routine lab equipment usage plan and assignment ;

- Take responsibility on planning and resource allocation for projects.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Lead, manage and guide R&D engineers’ routine work

- Development, implementation and qualification for R&D engineer’s technologies related training

- Participate in routine laboratory management work

- Based on the project demand, participate in documentation preparation and review work

- Establishment testing and resource plan, tracking the progress of project

- As a technical expert, take part in cross-department meeting/ workshop, support product related investigation

- Participate in the review and estimation on industry guidelines, technical review guidelines leading by QMS team

Requirements:

Master degree in natural sciences, preferably biology, biochemistry, clinical chemistry or related subjects

Business fluency in English, oral and written;

3-5 years of experience in the clinical laboratory testing and/or development of IVD assays

A solid knowledge of IVD manufacturing and/or product care activities is beneficial

Leadership experience in an R&D or clinical laboratory setting

Native or professional Chinese, oral and written

Strong people leadership (including direct line management) and proven project management skills

Team player with the ability to work on their own initiative
