Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY*
• Quality Technician will conduct raw material, semi-FG and finished goods release test.
• Quality Technician will execute instrument maintenance and validation activities.
• Quality Technician will execute investigation, bounding, documentation of NCs / failed test result. Escalation of quality issues as appropriate
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
• ACCOUNTABILITIES/KEY MEASURES
Test equipment maintenance and validation execution
Quality technician will execute or support instrument qualification and computer software validation
Quality technician will execute or support test method validation
Quality technician will execute sample preparation and testing per manufacture process after training, including in-process quality control and finish goods inspection.
Product Quality, Control & Disposition and Performance Standards
Support Quality Engineer to conduct actions of non-conformances, CAPAs and customer complaints.
Support Quality Engineer for material identification, material segregation, and classification of defect types including the successful application of these techniques on a day-to-day basis in manufacturing.
Support Quality Engineer to analyze/review effectiveness of preventive and corrective actions.
Quality Compliance
Support Quality Engineer to review/analyze whether current product and processes (including actions or decisions conducted)are in compliance to standards.
Support Quality Engineer to conduct periodic line audits to assess for production controls such as lot segregation.
Production/Process Controls including Control Plans
Support Quality Engineer to develop, interpret and implement appropriate process monitoring and control methods consistent with the level of process/product risk.
Collect data and execute/conduct various analytical/statistical analysis and interpretation as part of process improvements and day-to-day support.
Support Quality Engineer to develop, interpret and implement standard and non-standard sampling plans.

Support Quality Engineer to assess effectiveness of measurement tools, destructive tests, non-destructive tests, measurement system analysis.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
