The Position
Publication Data Entry Specialist

The Opportunity
Publication Data Entry Specialists execute Scientific Communications (SC) Strategies by assisting with the accurate and timely entry, validation, and maintenance of all publication-related data within designated management systems. This meticulous documentation of publication activities supports effective project oversight and reporting across product-specific teams, Disease Areas, early research, and other cross-lifecycle engagements, ultimately contributing to the goal of changing medical practice.
Scientific Data Curation: Research, enter, and maintain high volumes of publication data with 100% accuracy.
Metadata Validation: Review and audit data points to ensure completeness.
Quality Assurance: Perform quality control checks on peer-reviewed content and historical archives under supervision.
SOP Support: Assist with the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for specialized data harvesting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT and Therapeutic Areas to improve the data entries.
Reporting: Assist in generating status reports on database health and publication trends for management.
System Integrity: Assist with data migrations and help identify system errors within our publication management tools.
Who You Are
Technical Skills: Ability to learn and implement new IT Systems across the network; keyboarding speed & accuracy is required.
Experience: 0-5 years experience in customer service or data entry positions. Fresh graduates and students are encouraged to apply for this position.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy; able to maintain high standards while processing large datasets with minimal supervision.
Organizational Skills: Strong time management skills; able to prioritize tasks independently based on data volume and deadlines.
Communication: Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
Ability to operate successfully in a matrix environment with shared responsibilities.
