Job Description
We are looking for a Production Operator to join AbbVie Cork on a 12 month contract supporting our production line.
Responsibilities include:
Following Quality Assessment requirements, GMP standards, and all applicable SOPs for equipment, plant operations, and production processes.
Carrying out production activities according to the schedule, manufacture order, and work instructions.
Preparing the work area by checking schedule accuracy, workplace readiness, and materials, including codes, lot numbers, expiry dates, and FIFO compliance.
Completing preparatory, process, and post-production tasks, including batch documentation, product identification, and sealing containers.
Operating assigned equipment such as mills, granulation, blending, tabletting, coating, inspection, dispensing, and encapsulation machinery.
Meeting OEE targets for cycle times and changeover times across all processes.
Completing Master Batch Paperwork accurately and in step with production progress.
Performing in-process testing, investigate deviations, notify supervisors when needed, and complete quality control documentation.
Following safety regulations, report incidents or concerns, and contribute to a safe and clean workplace.
Maintaining good hygiene, professional conduct, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
A Leaving Certificate or equivalent is required.
Knowledge/Interest in process Equipment and manufacturing.
MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook.
Good communication skills and good problem-solving skills.
