Safe, high-quality chemical manufacturing is at the heart of what we do, and as Production Manager, you will be the driving force behind it. In this pivotal role, you will lead all daily production operations, ensuring that output, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently met while upholding the highest standards of process safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with hands-on technical expertise in chemical processing and manufacturing operations. Fluency in spoken and written English is required for effective communication within multinational team.

Your Role

Lead and optimize all daily production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets while ensuring safe handling of all chemical manufacturing processes.

Provide leadership for the team to ensure the effective execution of Process Safety Management (PSM) programs with discipline, including Management of Change (MOC), Hazard and Operability (HAZOP), risk assessments, contractor management, incident investigations, and deviation management.

Define and monitor KPIs to track production performance and ensure targets are met. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production lines (process optimization, energy/material efficiency, waste reduction, and digitalization/automation) to debottleneck the process and improve the production performance.

Collaborate with global teams to address any issues and optimize the production processes.

Ensure compliance with EHS standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems; shape strong safety culture and transparent mindset for every improvement opportunity.

Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing production team; recruit and structure roles to meet demand; conduct performance reviews and succession planning.

Collaborate with EHS, Quality, Process Engineering, Facility & Maintenance Engineering, Technical Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure reliable manufacturing processes and on-time delivery of products.

Oversee the implementation of digital manufacturing initiatives (connectivity, data capture, analytics) to improve process visibility and decision-making.

Who You Are

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.

You bring at least 8 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, production, or process engineering, with a clear track record of progressive leadership responsibility.

You have hands-on expertise in chemical handling, safety compliance, and Process Safety Management, including Management of Change, Hazard and Operability studies, incident investigation, contractor management, and deviation management.

You are a confident, collaborative leader who can manage multiple priorities, align diverse stakeholders, and deliver results across complex, cross-functional environments.

You apply a data-informed, continuous improvement mindset to operational challenges, with experience in process optimization, energy and material efficiency, waste reduction, and digital manufacturing initiatives.

You are proficient in English (spoken and written) and at ease working within multinational, globally connected teams.

You are open to regional travel as needed and flexible to support shift operations where the role requires it.

You bring resilience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to developing and mentoring the people around you.
