About this opportunity
Key Responsibilities
The Product Manager (PM) develops the end-to-end plan of his/her assigned brand/s and /or portfolio, analysing opportunities & challenges to establish brand strategies and deliver business goals. The SPM defines clear metrics for a successful marketing plan execution and is the core to the cross-functional activation from Medical, Sales, Commercial Excellence and even market access/public affairs.
Market customer & competitive insights
Proactively identifies market, customer and competitive data gaps and proposes primary and secondary market research needs to generate insights to support strategic and operational priorities
Synthesizes information from disparate data sources into key commercial and customer insights
Shares critical hypothesis & data-driven insights across key stakeholders and cross-functional partners and ensures alignment on implications for brand and customer strategy
Strategic marketing & portfolio planning
Applies marketing excellence principles in preparing a concise, compelling and credible marketing plan; applies in-depth market, competitor and customer understanding to ensure winning strategic medical-marketing plans
Utilizes a range of data sources to make evidence-based strategic decisions including identifying leverage points and strategic imperatives to drive business goals
Translates in-depth understanding of customer behaviours, attitudes and preferences into segmentation strategies that enhances journey and experience to drive brand value
Develops strong pre-launch and launch plans to ensure high launch readiness and accelerated uptake
Marketing execution & performance analytics
Utilizes a range of primary and secondary data sources to set granular KPIs, forming rigorous tracking plans, which are fully aligned to brand and customer strategy
Routinely monitors campaign execution and performance against KPIs, taking early and decisive corrective action to address any performance gaps
Adapts execution focus to current and emerging market both offline and online, competitor and customer dynamics
Prioritizes marketing and promotional efforts to focus on the programs/products/portfolio with the greatest impact; ensures investments and resource allocation are aligned with commercial and customer outcomes
Collaborates closely with SFE and sales management on sales force allocation, FF execution and driving productivity
Engages all relevant cross functional partners to ensure full alignment on implementation and seamless execution
Ensure strict business ethics at all times; maintain adherence to local law, NNWay and NN policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
Relevant academic degree within medical or business Marketing specialization is preferred
English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Minimum of 4 to 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry in marketing and product management.
Omnichannel and digital marketing experience is a strong advantage.
