Your role:
You will connect China/APAC product strategy with manufacturing and commercial execution. You will combine regional product management with hands-on leadership of localization, product transfers, data quality, and portfolio operations.
What you will do
Product Management (50%)
Shape product line strategy for China/APAC in alignment with global portfolio direction and local customer needs.
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned products, including portfolio analysis, change management, rationalization, and phase-out.
Lead new product launches and go-to-market execution, coordinating timelines, product information, system setup, and commercial readiness.
Coordinate product changes and responses to customer needs, complaints, quality issues, special requests, and supply disruptions.
Advance risk mitigation, local sourcing, product and packaging improvements, speed, and cost efficiency.
Portfolio Operations - Wuxi focus (50%)
Support product localization and global product transfers to Wuxi, driving milestones, readiness, issue resolution, and cross-site alignment.
Act as the primary on-site interface between the Wuxi plant and global Product Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams.
Connect plant execution with portfolio strategy, synchronize product and supply updates, and resolve cross-functional bottlenecks.
Lead strategic portfolio projects and safeguard ERP and product data quality by clarifying ownership, coordinating resolution, and strengthening escalation pathways.
Who you areļ¼
Bachelor's degree in business, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
At least four years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry, for example in product management, marketing, technical service, operations, or supply chain.
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders in a global matrix organization.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, launches, go-to-market execution, and product change management.
Analytical and structured approach, with experience in ERP systems and data management.
Experience with product localization, manufacturing transfers, or local sourcing is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in Mandarin Chinese and English; German is a plus.

You will collaborate across Commercial, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Wuxi plant leadership, franchise teams, and customers. The role has no formal direct reports but may lead project teams and trainees.
