Your new role

As our new Procurement Intern, you'll join a team of 5 procurement professionals supporting operational and investment procurement for our manufacturing facilities at site Gentofte. You'll gain hands-on experience in procurement fundamentals while making a tangible contribution to projects that bring medicines to patients.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Creating small purchase orders to support investment projects

Following up on invoices to ensure timely processing

Monitoring contracts and ensuring compliance

Maintaining internal documentation and ensuring all necessary records are in place

Tracking goods received and coordinating with stakeholders

Supporting two dedicated colleagues who handle smaller purchases for major investment projects

Your skills & qualifications

You will be a great asset to the team because you are:

At the end of your bachelor's or beginning of your master's degree, preferably within Supply Chain

Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Experienced from an office-related job, meaning IT systems, following processes and procedures, and navigating stakeholders is not new to you

Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy in all your purchase activities

Comfortable with repetitive tasks, understanding they will teach you the basics of procurement

The department

You will become part of the manufacturing site in Gentofte and belong to the Business Support department. In Business Support you will join dedicated colleagues working on running and developing the business within supply chain, administrative support, training, LEAN, warehouse, finance and data.

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

Within CMC & Product Supply, our Gentofte procurement team plays a critical role in enabling our manufacturing operations. You'll work closely with two colleagues in a supportive environment where learning the fundamentals of procurement is valued and encouraged.

The average working week is 22.5 hours (3 full days), with flexibility during exam periods or periods where you are able to work more, giving you the opportunity to immerse yourself fully in procurement activities.
