Location:

The MEGASYS® Operations Supervisor is an onsite position located in the Austin, TX area.  There will be minimal travel to meet business needs.

Your Role:

MEGASYS® offers specialized services in managing gases, chemicals and slurries, where our technicians and engineers provide critical on-site support in semiconductor manufacturing environments.

In the MEGASYS® Operations Supervisor role you will oversee technicians’ daily activities essential in ensuring the supply of chemicals and gases necessary for producing chips used in various electronic devices.  Additionally, the Operations Supervisor will coordinate and support total gas and chemical management projects, operations scheduling, execution, and completion activities and is a key customer interface for all operations.  This position provides a challenging and rewarding opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to a dynamic and expanding business.

Key Responsibilities:

Drives safety-first culture with constant safety messages, communications, and team interaction to meet ZERO targets in safety and quality performance. Supervise BSP safety processes/requirements for shifts and assigned employees (spot checks)

Drives a continuous improvement culture of making operational changes based on site needs and critical metrics. Responsible for implementing change across shifts; inspires change notification and compliance of changes across shifts

Shift change responsibility reinforcement; ensures flawless handoff from shift-to-shift ensuring accurate communication on customer expectations and project deadlines

Main customer contact for all Operations and project activities. Drives accurate completion of all sustaining activities, maintaining ZERO gas or chemical interruptions

Communicates customer activity, such as reporting on delayed service requests, equipment reset status, and action item list completion

Trains and certifies technicians to attain the level of proficiency required to perform service in each of the skill areas according to the scope of work

Completes preventative and corrective maintenance and takes ownership of non-conforming events database (MAXIMO). Maintains online systems to address operational concerns in a timely manner reducing the amount of downtime

Performs 8D investigations with the use of the 8D problem-solving format. Conducts root cause investigations, develops and closes action items

Monitors and reports on any equipment or service excursion and performs appropriate escalation to customer

Maintains online shift schedule, supervises all attendance and performance-related issues, and delivers employee feedback as recommended or required

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor ’ s degree in any discipline with 2+ years of experience in a semiconductor, chemical or other manufacturing setting

OR

High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years of experience in a semiconductor, chemical or other manufacturing setting

1+ years of demonstrated leadership, mentorship, coaching, team building, or supervisory experience in an electronics or chemical manufacturing setting

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or chemical science discipline

3+ years of demonstrated leadership, mentorship, coaching, team building, or supervisory experience in an electronics or chemical manufacturing setting.

Experience in MAXIMO or other maintenance database systems

Demonstrated coaching, mentoring and team building skills

Knowledge of gas and chemical systems and SEMI construction standards

Proficient in MS applications such as SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

Tuition assistance program

Pay range for this position: $97,600 - $120,000

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
