Medical Science Liaison - Solid tumors

Base Location.: Poland

Territory to be covered: The specific territory will be determined based on the candidate’s location.

The MSL mission is to maximize the value of company products through high scientific quality communication with Leading Specialists. By undertaking activities in line with the Medical Affairs Plan, MSL is jointly responsible, with other functions, for the realization of short-term and long-term company’s goals. MSLs should be therapeutic area scientific experts, responsible for discussing our products, trends in patient treatments and studies in the therapeutic areas in which we are involved, with a defined audience of Leading Specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Hospital Managers, Board Members of Scientific Societies, and other stakeholders) and to be considered by them as a trusted scientific counterpart.

MSLs interactions must not be promotional in nature.

The major responsibilities of MSLs are:

• Through scientific interactions with Leading Specialists, champion medical benefits of products and contribute to foster innovative therapeutic approaches to benefit patients.

• Through scientific interactions, gain valuable insight into treatment patterns, including the

discussion and evaluation of scientific alignment (where applicable, based on local

conditions/regulations), and scientific activities in the therapeutic area and provide input to the company Medical Affairs Plan / business decision making.

• To keep abreast of medical and scientific knowledge.

• Development and maintenance of a contact network with Leading Specialists.

• Proactive and reactive communication of medical scientific data to Leading Specialists.

• Organization and participation in Medical Education activities.

• Organization and participation in Advisory Boards in cooperation with Medical Advisor/Medical Director.

• Provision of scientific support to company sales representatives.

• Support Medical Affairs and GCO in study execution, including site identification and other data generation projects.

To properly fulfil their role, MSLs should have the following knowledge and skills:

• Scientific degree: Medical Doctor, Pharmaceutical or Natural Sciences University degree, or related qualification.

• Deep knowledge of the therapeutic area, strength in research and interpretation of medical data.

• Min 2 years of relevant work experience, scientific acumen, and communication skills to be well-perceived and trusted as a scientific partner by Leading Specialists.

• Highly customer focused with an awareness and understanding of the importance of Company results.

• Innovative with the ability to coordinate and drive solutions in a complex and changing environment.

• Awareness of and adherence to the International Health Care Business Integrity Guide and related procedures, and to all local regulations and Codes of Conduct.

• Driving license

• Fluent in English and Polish

• Awareness of, and adherence to, Johnson & Johnson Credo values.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

zł185,500.00 - zł299,000.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
