The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Cardiovascular role serves as a scientific and medical expert within the assigned therapeutic area and manages medical aspects of products and/or therapies. The MSL proactively builds and develops close, enduring ‘win-win’ relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, creating constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to disseminate scientific information and generate insights. Working collaboratively across functions within the DE and GSA teams. The role provides field or hybrid medical support that is aligned and integrated to the overall medical strategy. This includes supporting the local implementation of the global strategy to meet local market needs, ensuring successful lifecycle management of existing therapies and product launches.

Main responsibilities:

Build and maintain trusted scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and institutions in your territory

Engage proactively and reactively in medical and scientific information exchange through one-on-one interactions, group meetings, and webinars

Develop and execute individual stakeholder engagement plans aligned with the Country Medical strategy

Provide high-quality, accurate, and balanced medical information in response to healthcare professional inquiries, and support investigators in externally sponsored research submissions

Contribute to evidence-generation activities, including company-sponsored studies and externally sponsored research, in line with internal strategies and requirements

Generate high-value, actionable insights from field interactions and propose solutions to inform medical strategy

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across DE and GSA while maintaining full compliance with company, industry, legal, and regulatory requirements

About you

Education: Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related scientific discipline

Experience: 3–5 years in the pharmaceutical industry, clinical research, or medical affairs, with proven stakeholder engagement experience with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders

Scientific skills: Strong expertise in clinical research methodology, ability to critically evaluate medical literature, and a track record of presenting medical data to diverse audiences

Soft skills: Demonstrated ability to build long-term professional partnerships and collaborate effectively across functions

Digital competency: Proficient with virtual meeting technologies and CRM systems

Languages: Fluent German and English (C1/C2 level) for scientific communication and documentation

Mobility: Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the territory

The salary range for this position is :€79 104,00 - €105 472 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
