Job Description
Position: Medical Representative
Reports to: Sales Manager
Location: Seoul, South Korea
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
To build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals within an assigned territory, ensuring consistent sales growth through the provision of high-quality products, technical expertise, and exceptional service. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, product knowledge, and a commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve and maintain consistent sales targets within the designated territory by effectively promoting and selling products.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement strategic territory sales plans based on approved forecasts.
Apply in-depth product knowledge and selling skills to understand and meet the specific needs of healthcare professionals, achieving territory sales goals.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing key accounts within the territory.
Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, providing appropriate solutions and feedback to management.
Represent the company at medical conferences, health talks, and exhibitions, building relationships and enhancing product visibility.
Monitor and analyze competitor activities, providing valuable market intelligence on pricing, products, and strategies to the Sales and Marketing teams.
Continuously update technical and product knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional networking.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities, providing historical data for analysis.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by supporting colleagues and achieving shared objectives.
Ensure all activities within the territory adhere to the highest ethical standards and company guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related field is preferred.
2+ years of professional sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of success in general hospital settings.
Strong planning, organizational, and presentation skills.
A positive, customer-centric attitude with a genuine passion for the medical field and collaborative work.
A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong sense of urgency.
A demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and seeking innovative solutions.
A strong sense of accountability and ownership of results.
