Your Role:

In this role you will serve as the operational team lead within the warehouse and materials management function. This position is responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities, providing guidance and support to Materials Technicians, ensuring compliance with GMP and company procedures, and maintaining accurate inventory control. The Technician assists leadership in achieving safety, quality, service, and productivity objectives.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Serve as the operational lead, assigning daily tasks, training, coaching, and mentoring Materials Management Technicians.

Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement while escalating performance or operational issues to leadership.

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for all warehouse processes and system operations.

Execute ERP material transactions, verify inbound/outbound documentation, and coordinate receiving, staging, and shipping activities.

Maintain inventory accuracy by leading cycle counts, conducting audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.

Maintain warehouse organization, material storage, and identification using 5S principles and Lean methodologies.

Ensure strict adherence to GMP, GDP, FDA, OSHA, and regulatory standards through meticulous documentation and audit support.

Drive operational efficiency by participating in Kaizen events, Gemba walks, CAPA implementations, and KPI performance tracking.

Physical Attributes:

Stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.

Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.

Work in warehouse, cooler, freezer, or manufacturing environments.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

4+ years of warehouse, inventory control, or materials management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong understanding of inventory control principles.

Leadership, lead, or supervisory experience.

Experience working within a pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and warehouse compliance requirements.

Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or equivalent).

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to train and mentor team members.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training.

Forklift certification.

Experience supporting FDA-regulated operations.

Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay Range for this position: $21 - $36 / hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
