We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with exceptional drive and urgency to lead new product introduction activities for our advanced robotic medical device systems. This role demands someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes proactive ownership of complex technical challenges, and can rapidly troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues that impact product launches. You’ll be instrumental in bridging design intent and manufacturing reality for next-generation surgical robotics platforms.

Key Role Responsibilities:
Design, validate, and document assembly processes, tooling, gauges, and fixtures to build product efficiency
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including design control records, product configurations, manufacturing procedures, lot history records, bills-of-materials, and Quality System requirements
Drive cross-functional Manufacturing reviews with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to ensure seamless and timely product transitions
Lead and actively participate in process/product continuous improvement projects with measurable outcomes
Provide extensive electromechanical troubleshooting capabilities and instrumental expertise to rapidly resolve build issues
Lead root cause analysis, diving deep into technical details until problems are fully understood
Demonstrate proficiency in CAD design, rapid prototyping, tool/fixture qualification, and equipment sourcing
Drive process characterization, validation and Test Method Validation
Support and work with Quality to proactively address and resolve non-conformances before they impact production
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mechatronic engineering, mechanical engineering or related field
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience with demonstrated progression of responsibility
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Strong manufacturing engineering background in process documentation.
Electromechanical Systems: Extensive troubleshooting capabilities across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation domains
CAD Proficiency: rapid prototyping, and design for manufacturing analysis.
Manufacturing Processes: Deep knowledge of precision assembly processes, and sourcing manufacturing tools, gauges, and fixtures.
Documentation: Proven experience developing design control documentation, manufacturing procedures, and quality system records
Preferred:
Experience with surgical robotics platforms or high-precision medical devices
Background in high-mix, low-volume precision manufacturing environments.
Experience with MES systems and PLM tools in regulated industries.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$91,000.00 to $128,000.00
