Job Description:
The Manager Strategic Marketing, Biosurgery supports platform and priority market leaders in executing brand strategy across key markets. This role helps coordinate brand initiatives, align materials and messaging, and support consistent market execution across MedTech Surgery platform portfolios.
This role focuses on supporting day-to-day brand execution and helping markets apply strategic direction in ways that reflect local needs and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Stewardship & Alignment
Support translation of global brand direction into relevant approaches for China and Japan
Assist in adapting approved messaging and materials for regional relevance
Collect and share market feedback with brand and commercial partners
Regional & Market Partnership
Coordinate with global brand teams and market contacts to support execution of marketing priorities
Help local teams apply global strategies within market requirements and timelines
Marketing Enablement & Capabilities
Support delivery of approved marketing content, tools, and guidance to priority markets
Help maintain consistency in brand materials, digital presence, and event execution
Assist with capability-building efforts and sharing of effective practices across markets
Planning, Coordination & Governance
Support planning processes and help track alignment across key activities and deliverables
Help organize inputs related to market priorities, timelines, and dependencies
Follow established brand standards and support compliant local adaptation
Insights, Learning & Best Practices
Share market insights and execution learnings with internal teams
Support identification and sharing of best practices across regions
Key Stakeholders
Global Strategic Marketing (brand teams) & Platform Leadership
Regional marketing, commercial, and cross-functional partners across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas

Clarity and consistency of brand strategy across markets

Comfort working within a matrixed organization across functions and markets
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related discipline; advanced degree a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or related commercial roles.
- Experience supporting regional, country-level, or downstream marketing initiatives.
- Ability to execute effectively within cross-functional, matrixed environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
- Experience working with hospital systems, clinical stakeholders, or medical technology.
- Working knowledge of market analytics, brand execution, pricing, and customer insights.
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years of experience in strategic, regional, or downstream marketing within medical devices or healthcare.
- Experience leading projects, agencies, or cross-functional workstreams is preferred.
- Experience launching and growing surgical products within local markets.
- Strong experience adapting global strategies to regional execution.
- Experience with the Biosurgery portfolio is a strong plus
