About this opportunity
This is what you will do:
The Manager Market Research is an office-based role within the German commercial organization. The incumbent will support the Director Commercial Operations and lead strategic Market Research projects and initiatives across all indications. The position reports to the Director Commercial Operations.
You will be responsible for:
Lead and co-ordinate qualitative and quantitative primary and secondar market research studies in-line with needs from Marketing and Sales Dept.
Develop the market intelligence capabilities within the sales and marketing organization
Act as expert with professional knowledge in relevant market research data and data bases (IQVIA and/or others)
Analyze, evaluate, and monitor the market positioning of Alexion and competitor products
Identifying market and company trends and articulating how these translate into growth opportunities for our clients
Generate reports of findings and present these to senior management and brand teams
Inspire the Sales Leadership Team and Marketing Leadership with meaningful insights and best practices across indications and teams
Develop effective business intelligence strategies and analytics solutions, in partnership with Marketing
Analyze consumer preferences to determine the potential sales of a product or service
Partner with Global and International to define needs and projects
Support global market research projects and bring in German needs and perspective
Partner with all relevant functions to ensure inclusion of all perspectives and needs and improve outcome and impact
Ensure that a high level of expertise and excellence in customer service is delivered to all customers.
Works with the highest degree of professionalism and in accordance with the company’s code of Ethics and Business Conduct
Report pharmacovigilance information according to Alexion procedures
You will need to have:
Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); preferably in physical, natural, or biological science, medicine, mathematics, economics, or business
Work experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical market research with ability to design and manage quantitative and/or qualitative market research studies
Requires deep understanding in market research approaches
Understanding in the usage of AI
Ability to interact frequently with outside customers at various management levels and functional peer groups
Ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects
Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
Capabilities in Project management
Able to work collaboratively and flexibly to support the execution of projects within a team environment and meeting all internal and external deadlines
Good team player with strong interpersonal skills
Motivated and able to demonstrate initiative
Interest in consulting, healthcare in general, and the pharmaceutical industry
We would prefer for you to have:
Should have ability to attend, understand and participate in international meetings conducted in English.
