At Amgen Breda, medicines are labeled, assembled, stored, and shipped to countries around the world. Every day, more than 1,000 colleagues from over 40 nationalities contribute to supply chain operations, manufacturing, marketing and sales of our medicines, and clinical research into new therapies.

What you will do
As one of our hands-on maintenance team leads, you play a key leadership role on the shop floor in your shift. You combine technical expertise with a passion for coaching, developing, and guiding people. This is a position where your impact is felt through coordination, team performance and technical expertise.
In this role, you are the shift lead for a team of 3-4 maintenance technicians. You are visible on the floor, work hands-on when needed, and create an environment where your team can perform, grow, and take ownership. You will collaborate closely with the other maintenance Team Leads from the other shifts to ensure alignment and continuity.
Your responsibilities include:
Leading, coaching, and developing a team of 3 maintenance technicians in your shift to handle breakdowns independently.
Creating a safe, engaged, and high-performing team culture.
Planning, prioritizing, and coordinating maintenance activities.
Leading shift handovers to ensure ownership in the next shift.
Collaborating closely with Production, Engineering and Quality to tackle challenges.
Hands-on maintenance work when needed.

What we expect from you
Technical background in maintenance (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics).
Proven experience in leading, coaching, or mentoring maintenance technicians (formal or informal).
A visible, hands-on leadership style, you lead by example on the shop floor and take ownership of decisions.
Strong communication skills and a natural coaching mindset.
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (GMP experience is a plus).
Work in a 5-shift roster.
